Each April since 1981, when President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first Victims’ Rights Week, communities across the nation have held public rallies, candlelight observances, and commemorative activities to promote awareness of victims’ rights and needs.
The next NCVRW will be observed April 22-28, 2012. The theme for NCVRW 2012 is “Extending the Vision: Reaching Every Victim.”
