To assist victims of domestic violence to achieve economic self-sufficiency and move from victim to survivor, the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic has established a fund that will address emergency transportation and housing needs of victims. It will include paying for transportation to emergency shelter and resources, relocation to a safe environment, and/or to reunite victims with their support system. In addition it will help survivors pay down debt, re-establish credit, pay uninsured medical costs, security deposits, and first month’s rents. Currently the fund is solely dependent on designated donations and fundraisers throughout the year. ICADV will continue to seek additional resources to support this vital project.
Application must be submitted to ICADV by a member agency. ICADV will review the application in a timely manner and responses will likely occur within 5 business days. ICADV will not accept applications directly from individuals or clients.
