Each quarter, Dr. Carla Gaff Clark provides training to ICADV member organizations and community partners on issues of mental health and addictions.
These trainings are hosted by service providers across the state on various dates and times which are listed below. To inquire about attending a session of this training, please contact the person listed for the specific training session you would like to attend. Each host location is responsible for determining registration availability, cost and other arrangements for that workshop session.
Understanding Personality Disorders Through a Client’s Eyes
It is often said that the best way to understand a person is to walk a mile in their shoes or to view the world through their eyes. This training is designed to help advocates and other domestic violence professionals to do exactly that. In this case, Carla Gaff Clark will focus on understanding clients dealing with Borderline Personality Disorder or Borderline Personality Features and what the world looks and feels like for them. Trainings are free of charge and those who wish to attend need to contact the individual host site contact listed.
